  • Great News!

It is now in a Government document that Supply Staff can be furloughed over the summer.

If your employee is a supply teacher
Supply teachers are eligible for the scheme in the same way as other employees and can continue to be claimed for during school holiday periods provided that the usual eligibility criteria are met.

  • This is where I logged in.

  • Test

  • Testing… seems to work!

  • Here’s a link for some data about the main agencies working in the supply sector. Personally I want to see private agencies become obsolete but until then it might be useful especially for those who are new to supply or are looking to change agency.

  • Same!

    • I can see this.

  • This is also in the news feed though. I wanted the news feed to be the main posts and social network to be supply teachers talking to one another.

  • Hi, I seem to have logged in šŸ˜

  • Hi everyone, Jon from Salford and a supply in Greater Manchester. Anyone expecting to get work next week ?

    • Sunny Salford! I did my language degree there, back in the day! It was their flagship course, well, one of them, and very sadly they no longer do it.

    • No, don’t be daft!

  • Hi all, glad to be a member.

    • Hi Karen, if you go to groups and ask to join the general group chat, there are currently 21 people in the group and you can chat privately in there.

  • Hi everyone. Iā€™m Liz from Bristol. Primary Year 4 class teacher on a a Monday and supply the rest of the time when there is no Covid!

  • I cannot access any KS3/4 resources. Any advice?

    • There currently aren’t any, due to no secondary members suggesting resources. In the CPD section, at the bottom, there is a link called TeachPal which has some very good resources. Have a look at that.

  • Hi, finally managed to get in. Now for a look around .
